Is recovery possible from a partially complete .Tib Module ?

Thread needs solution

Lenovo IdeaPad had a failing hard drive. I used Acronis 2010 to do a image of the \User profile path. A .Tib module of 167 Megabytes was created. Unfortunately the disk drive totally failed while attempting to create the image.

Any attempt to access/recover or mount the image fails.

Is there any possible way to access this partial .Tib to recovery Docs & mail ?

As far as I know, there is no way to get any data out of an incomplete backup. The file is corrupted and TI won't open it.

Does the drive not even turn on and spin up now?

If you only backed up the C:\Users folder, it would be a Files & Folders type backup, not an image backup.

Yes, it was a files & folders style backup. The drive did fail completely during the backup process. The notebook was only in use for 5 months. Seems to me like all recent technology devices have a higher fail rate than in years past.
