recovery problems

Thread needs solution

All my backups are stored in a TI secure zone on a dedicated internal drive.
After up to a few days ago all was fine but after a crash the secure zone can no longer be accessed by TI
recovery media.
After running a Windows 10 system reset I am up the creek without a proverbial paddle because all my apps were lost in the reset.
How can the secure zone be made useable again? I had assumed all would be well by running a restore which I have done many times in the past but now the zone is not listed in the recovery environment.

TI 2015 build 6613.

Hi xpilot,

Acronis advertises help with recovery (regardless of version or support status) and on the support screen form, there is a block where the recoveriy item is checked.

Somewhere on this or Wilders, I remember posts about the partition type being changed via a disk utilitiy such as Disk Director or the free partition wizard.

If you have a 2014 Recovey disk, also try that.

Good luck.

Hi Grover,
Thanks for your reply. My computer, or should I say Windows 10, saw I was having some difficulties. So it announced that it would start to repair my windows system and this could take some time. There was no way I could see to back out of .the clutches of this "Helpful" automated repair.
When it had finished with the assertion that I had damage disks these had been verified as okay earlier in the day I was left with no useable backups and a very lame Windows system. My full disk backups could not be seen by Windows or several versions of TI recovery media. At this point I Jumped ship and left for the murky waters of a re-install Windows 10 and Acronis 2016. More of which later when I have cooled down.

God luck is definitely needed.
