Redundant backups: Redo it, or just copy the .tib files to another drive?
I'm running 2013 and it just saved my azz. I did lose a few days work because I typically do a full backup once weekly. So I'm gonna shift to daily incrementals, with new full backups every week or two. BUT that has nothing to do with my question. My recentt drive failure makes me realize just how fragile all this data is, so I want to also start keeping a redundant copy on a separate drive. Can I just copy the .tib files to the other drive or do I have to redo another full backup via True Image for some reason?
And which way is faster do you think? Both backup drives are external USB 3.0, so the speed question is about: (1) from CPU internal HDD to external HDD via USB 3.0, vs (2) external HDD to external HDD (again, both USB 3.0).
Thanks,
Brian

Actually before I let you go, you mentioned "create a copy of your backup task". That's sounds more like what I would like to do, i.e. set True Image to do 2 backups, one to each of my external HD's, and one right after the other, automatically. Is that an available option somewhere? Some brief searching didn't get me what I'm looking for. The closest I found is the "Backup reserve copy" option, but if I read it correctly it seems to only work for full backups, not incremental (which is what I do). I'm running 2013 by the way. Thanks.

Brian, see the ATIH 2013 User Guide: Backup and recovery tab page then scroll down to where it talks about the Operations Menu where you will see the option to Clone settings for your backup task in the More section of the drop-down menu shown in the screen shots.
More - opens the following additional items:
- Create shortcut - creates a shortcut on the Desktop. With the shortcut you can run a backup without starting True Image 2013.
- Consolidate versions - you can delete the backup versions you no longer need while maintaining the consistency of the backup.
- Clone settings - clones the current backup settings when you need to create several similar backups. Clone the backup settings and then introduce the required changes.
