remapping bad sectors before restoration

Thread needs solution

My situation is the following. I have 2 logical partitions of one hard disk. One is system partition. The second one is devoted for data and archives. There no bad blocks on the system partition. There is 1 bad sector on the data partition according to the checkdisk information. Acronis says it can not change the size of security zone because of bad blocks. I want to make this function work by restoration from the archive and resizing the system during the restoration. As I understtod, this should delete bad blocks information. Then I want to test the disk with the special software and try to remap bad sectors tp repair them. So I have the following question. Can this remapping corrupt the archives on the data partition and Acronis feature, if they were ok before the remapping?

Sincerely yours,

Alexander Gusev
