Repeated product activation requested due to changed hardware id

Perhaps anyone can tell me, why my Acronis True Image 2014 installation on windows 8.1 requests a new activation with changed serial id whenever I start it?
So far it's no problem: I just click on the link "Change serial number Activate now" and it says all functions re avilable now.
However it's somehow suspicious because nothing on the system hardware changed and I'm not sure whether the license will be blocked at some point in time, when too many activations took place ...
