Rescue disk environment goes into power save mode

Thread needs solution

When I boot from a rescue CD made in TIH 2011, everything seems to go fine, I can select a backup file, etc, but when I try to start the restore, my computer says "Entering power save", and it goes into what appears to be a sleep mode. Can't wake it up once that happens.

I am running TIH 2011 build 6696 on a Dell Vostro 400 with Windows 7. Although I normally use a wireless keyboard & mouse, the problem persists when I switch to a wired set and reboot from the CD.

Any suggestions appreciated.

As you are booted from the Rescue CD, this may be a setting that controlled in the BIOS which will require a setting adjustment within the BIOS.
