Rescue Media finds no disks
Hi (Dmitri?),
I'm having same probs as others that have raid disks. building rescue media does not find them (or any others now). I have been user since TIH 2009 and today upgraded again to 2011 in the hope it would recognise the disks - it didn't.
I'm using Windows 7 (64 bit) with Intel MSM (Raid) creating the raid disks on GA-x58a-ud3r m/b. WHilst I can get the original 2009 (8101) rescue disk to see the disks, it does not see the raid.
I'm hoping you can post an updated ISO to my accoungt as you have donefor others please.. "I have sent you ISO image of Acronis bootable disc based on different loader please check it also."
Thanks, Kevin

Kevin,
Build 8,101 is from version 11, not 2009.
Are the drives connected to the South Bridge 3Gb/s SATA2 ports or to the Marvell 9128 chip's 6Gb/s SATA3 ports? There may not be Linux drivers available yet for the SATA3 ports (I haven't checked).
In most cases where drives are not found, the best solution is to create a WinPE-based rescue disc and use it instead of the Linux-based version.
You can also try sending a PM to an Acronis Moderator. You may get a quicker response that way.

Thanks, but I have tried TIH 2009, 2010 and 2011 Rescue disks, and all download ISO's from "My Product Downloads". No luck.
RAID drives are connected to 3Gbs ICH10R RAID (intel) and I have disabled all other controllers. I have just put in a Sata DVDRom an now get further, but now get "Unable to load ram disk". I have also now disbled USB3, USB storage and anthing else that could be associated. Getting very frustrated.
Dont know how to build a winpe rescue or Bart disc...
Please anyone help....
