[RESOLVED] Acronis 2012, Update 2, Remove from list option
Downloaded and have installed the Update 2 (Build 2119).
When I first ran it, it immediately went to my external drive where I keep the backups and listed every backup that was stored there.
Okay, I can understand maybe for the first time run. I then used the setting wheel located on the right of each backup item and told it to "Remove from list". worked great in that the items were removed from the list (as it has in the past releases).
Problem is, that when I close Arconis 2012 down and then reopen, it re-reads each backup from the external drive and they all show again.
Anyone have any ideas on how you can remove a backup from the list and for it not to show again on the next and subsequent startup of Acronis.
I want the backup to remain on my external Hard Drive, but do not want them to show in the list.

The new build does have an option to disable this feature.
I have not installed 7119 but the test version did have a disabling feature.
In upper right corner to the LEFT of the search window
Click on the dualcog wheel & click on the checkmark beside "Search for Backups at Startup"
This will stop the search.
Caution: This is a toggle option--the checkmark is always there-- It stays checked but the toggle controls whether on or off.
Just above that line is an option to remove all items from the listing. In testing, this worked very well.
After I have had a chance to download and observe the new changes, I will post a picture. I assume this is covered in the 7119 user manual.

Now I am off the try and find that 7119 manual.
