[RESOLVED] Lenovo C5 series computer

Thread needs solution

I created a usb recovery memory stick. When I boot to the memory stick and activate acronis true image, my screen gets compressed to 1/3 its size and I can't read anything on the screen. For some reason, acronis didn't setup the proper video display on my stick.
The Lenovo C5 series computer is a large screen with all pc parts contained within the screen.
I would appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks
Algis

If within 30 days of purchase, try contacting Aconis support LIVE CHAT and they can offer suggestions to modify the video being used by the stick.

If you have a CD burner, try burning a CD and see if the same problem persists.

Is this a Windows 8 computer?

What resolution is your monitor?

You can burn the CD with parameters. When making the CD there is an option to add parameters, type in VGA=ASK , this will allow you to set a resolution when you boot into the CD. You might not get a perfect match, but you should be able to get a screen display that is closer to what you need.

Hi all,
Thanks for your assistance. I talked to Acronis tech service, very helpful, and the fix was to go into setup and change boot priority to legacy instead of uefi. Once I did that, my screen was perfect. Hope this helps other people.
