Restore after crash doesen't restore Chrome setting and preference and password, etc

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I'd really like to know WHY if Im restoring a full backup from a recovery disk,
Google Chrome setting are not restored.

Shouls the Acronis job restore "as it was" the system at the moment of the backup??

Well, it doesn't work.

I have choosen "restore disk" tha in my mind the meaning was a "time rewinding" at the moment of the backup.
But is not like that.

I'm really unhappy and unsatisfied.

If the SW is not able to restore EXACTLY the hd as it was...well....
it is unuseful.

Graham:

TI 2015 has a list of default files and folders to be excluded from the backup, including one for Google Chrome user data. You can remove this exclusion or turn off all exclusions to include everything in the image. Exclusions are located on the Exclusions tab in the interface:

Click on an exclusion that you want to remove to highlight it, then click the X at the right side of the highlighted area.

Change the exclusion

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\UserData

to

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache

Acronis should implement this....
