Restore Utility

Thread needs solution

I lost my only copy of True Image 2015.  Unfortunately, I never registered it, and now I need to restore from an image file.  Is there a utility available just for restore purposes?  Can I purchase another copy of True Image 2015?  If so, will it work with Windows 11?

Thanks for any help the you can provide.

Hello!

We don't sell or support that version of the product as it is out of the lifecycle. You could try to find it online, for example, on eBay.

We don't have any tool specifically for restoration. The only one available is the backup product itself, which includes the restore option.

Please note that Acronis True Image 2015 isn't compatible with Windows 11 as it wasn't released when the product was developed.

Best regards.

Norm, if you have a disk drive / SSD installed or connected from such as Crucial, WD etc, then you could download a copy of the OEM version of Acronis True Image from the OEM support site (seach on Google for the OEM name and Acronis).  This should allow you to restore your image file as the file should be compatible with later versions of Acronis.

See KB 2201: Support for OEM Versions of Acronis Products which applies to all OEM versions of ATI supplied with hardware purchases (for details of the different OEM versions available).

Some OEM versions require a serial number; I recently purchased 2 Kingston 1TB M.2 drives and each had a serial number on the packet. I do not have any Crucial drives so do not know what the situation is with Crucial OEM.
