Restoring a backup from FTP
Briefing: incremental backup of some folders from a secondary HDD on a Win 8.1 Pro x64 machine running ATI 2015 (build prior to 6525). Target was a FTP folder located on a remote "server" running Win 8.1 Pro x64 + FileZilla FTP Server. Everything OK for some months.
After replacing, few days ago, both the main and the secondary HDD and installing Win 8.1 Pro x64 + ATI 2015 (build 6525) from scratch, I'm now trying to restore some of the folders from the remote backup.
What I tried so far: "add backup" -> "add existing backup" -> "my ftp connections" -> select and open ftp -> select and open folder containing "tib" files -> select any "tib" file -> "add" stays grayed out.
Is there any method of restoring some files from a FTP backup?

I tried to use the recovery CD image but it doesn't seem to know how to connect to a FTP server as it rejects the connections due to failed authentication (credentials were OK so wrong user/pass is out of question). I suspect the network part is not working at all as it wasn't able to see the shares in my local network.
However this isn't a solution to me even if it works as I need to restore large amount of data (I'm moving 50-100 GB a day and some folders that I need to restore are over 300 GB in size) and I don't want to lock a machine for hours just to do this. ATI 2015 needs to run in background and do the job just like it did when was the case of backing the data up.

Back to your original situation, when you try to add the backup, is there a task in ATI related to the files you are trying to add? If yes, verify that the version is not in fact added correctly to the list of available versions for that backup task. If it is not, rename the files by adding .OLD at the end in the c:\programdata\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database, and restart Acronis True Image. Then add the TIB files back. See if that solves the issue.
