Restoring Backups with incrementals
If I have a full and incrementals 1 through 3 can I restore to a particular incremental instead of the whole archive and if so how. Thanks

Do you realize that if you choose, say inc. 2 then what gets restored will be inc 2 &1 plus the full?

DwnNDrty,
Good point. I was thinking that the whole archive meant the entire image set (Full through Incremental #3), but it may have been referring to only the contents of a specific Incremental backup (excluding the Full).
Specific files from a specific Incremental would need to be restored as files.

If I understand, When only the full is selected no Incr's are restored only the original Full Backup, if Incr #1 is selected then it and the Original Full Backup will be restored, if Incr #2 is selected then Full Backup & Incr #1 & Incr #2 will be restored and so on. Is this correct?

Norman,
Double check the file sizes on the backup in question. Are all of them 4,194,304 kb and the last one may be smaller. Usually, when a #1 backup file is listed, it is a split of one full backup. A true first incremental is usually numbered as 2 and a 1 is not listed because the full is internally considered as 1.
