Restoring one drive out of four...

Thread needs solution

In each backup file of ATI 2012 there is one option about "Explore & Restore" which seems to make the job of restoring the whole backup or just one folder or one file seem like a breeze... Now, most of the times I need to restore from a backup it's for minor things that could probably be recovered easier and faster by just restoring one folder (such as My Documents) or, say, the C: drive, instead of doing all the four drives in my system.

My question is: If I choose to restore drive C: only (or any one of the others, for that matter) what happens to the remaining drives that are not selected for restore? My problem, I think, comes from impression, right or wrong, that during a "restore" operation the whole hard drive is wiped out, so I am trying to avoid getting into a situation that I would have a hard time to resolve by myself...

Any help, please?

Thanks.
