Restoring operating system image results data/file backup plans becoming inoperative!

Thread needs solution

I have been using Acronis TI for years, and have found it successful, in backing up may operating system, and my personal files, (Data).

Backing up my operating system, has been a one off activity; that is a Full backup!

However, I back up my personal folders (Data) on a daily basis, using the differential option.

This has work successfully, until, I found it necessary to restore my operating system!

Having restored my operating system (Which was created several months ago), I find that the plan I have for backing up my personal folders (Data) fails to function correctly!

It comes up with a report, either indicating the file is corrupt, or cannot be found! In the latter case, it gives me the option to browse! I have tried this, navigating to the folder where my personal folders (Data) are stored, but validation. or backup comes up with the same negative reports! I have even tried the option to restore settings, without success!

Surly there must be a way of programming Acronis, to recognize and continue backing up personal folders (Data); the only way I have found, is to create a completely new back up plan, which is a pain, and a waist of time
