Restoring part of a full archive

I am running Acronis True Image Home 2009.9796, and have always created full archives. My question is this: If for some reason I lose part of my Word data base (on my C drive), do you see any reason why I can't open my latest .tib full archive from my external HD, and copy just the file I want to restore, then paste it in my C drive data folder? I have extracted a single word file from an archive before, pasted it in a test folder on my C drive, and was able to open it. I just don't want to do a full restore because of the loss of some simple data file. Thanks for your thoughts. Charles Ranheim
