Ridiculous...

Thread needs solution

The power went during a major backup. So I tried to start over where i left off. Every time I selected the archive that was being created, I got the error message saying that it was not the last archive. THERE WAS NO OTHER ARCHIVE. It had to be the last one. WHY AM I GETTING THIS ERROR MESSAGE?

So I tried not selecting an archive. And I got a message that the 130 GB archive I had just created, had to be overwritten. I even changed the name of the archive. Then, TI decided that the archive with the new name had to be overwritten.

Compute with Confidence? Yes, confidence that something, probably many things, will go wrong.

Anthony,
I know that TI 2010 has a few bugs .... but you can not expect things to go all "goodness and light " after a power failure ! .... during a procedure .. Who knows what might happen if you lose power during a backup ? I think your expectations are unrealistic ! Just do it over and and it will be fine. Regards Fred

Check the destination folder. If the bad file is there, delete it and let the file be created fresh again.
