Run ATI from desktop Shortcut BUT need better indication of backup completion.
I have created a desktop shortcut to execute a backup.
The shortcut target is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImageLauncher.exe" /script:E9C9813D-9AB5-46A1-82C8-7B09509E68AC
This works just fine. I get notifications when the backup starts and completes. However these notifications disappear off the screen after a few seconds. I would like a more positive indication of backup completion.
Either:
a) Have the ATI window to be open during the backup process so that progress may be checked and the completion is more obvious. or:
b) Have some way of the completion notification staying on the screen until it is manually closed.
Any ideas??
Note
I am actually devising a procedure for unsophisticated users to run backups (otherwise I wouldn't bother with using a desktop shortcut).

Thanks for your thoughts on the matter.
After further consideration I think I'll just get the intended users to execute the ATI program manually, and provide them simple instructions as to how to run the backup.
