"Run task only if the current device is attached" checkbox doesn't stay checked

Thread needs solution

Hello. When I put a checkmark in the "Run task only if the current device is attached", it is not saved - when I go to edit the task again, the checkbox is cleared. The other checkbox ("If missed, run the task when device is attached") remains checked.

I've downloaded the latest version of True Image Home 2010 and installed it on Windows XP SP3. I scheduled a daily Disk/partition full backup job using an external USB drive that is assigned drive E:

Thanks

David,
Why not consider an alternative. Look in my signature below. Drive Notify is a program which tells you (at a pre-scheduled time) to attach your external drive. And it won't allow the backup until the drive is attached. There is a free or very inexpensive for the purchased version.

My solution (IMHO) is a better mouse trap. Whether you use it is up to you.
