Runtime Error on launch

Thread needs solution

Having issues getting True Image Home running. I get this error when I try to run it.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImage.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

The PC is running Windows XP SP3 and during the install there was a prompt asking about installing an uncertified driver for something regarding 'System Devices'. I don't get this error (or the installation prompt) on any of the other computers I've installed this on. I'm not sure of the build that I'm using, but it is the latest Trial version. We are planning on buying licenses soon.

Steven,

This kind of error is hard to diagnose for other users like you and me. If you already:
- uninstalled previous versions before installing the latest build,
- uninstall the latest build and reinstalled,

You should contact customer support.

I'm having the same problem with this program.
It worked just fine for the last 10 or 11 months, until I received a message from ACRONIS. It says that there was a free update available from built 7046_s_NL to 7160_s_NL I downloaded the update and installed it. From that moment on I received the message:
RUNTIME ERROR!
Program: C:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImageMonitor.exe
abnormal program termination

I've tried to uninstall en repair it (it didn't work)
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the old version (it didn't work)

it keeps saying: Acronis True Image Home is not installed

So I installed it again and again so far nothing

Thanks ACRONIS for this free update.
