SATA HDD not recognized by TI2010, build 6053

Thread needs solution

hey there,

I'm currentyl running TI on my laptop and want to restore a TI-backup to another sata-hdd which I removed from my computer and plugged to my laptop by using a sata2usb adapter. But TI just does NOT recognize the hdd. an earlier version did recognize it correctly but couldn't restore the backup...

I tried to integrate TI into a bartpe cd, which worked well (in case the sata2usb would be hte problem), and so plugged the sata-hdd directly onto my gigabyte ep35-ds3 mainboard and started from the live-cd, but the same problem again: it does not get recognized...

windows itself recognizes it right as ntfs-formatted volume...

what can I do?
is it a generel problem or just for this hdd? in 3 days I get a different hdd, could it work than with this one?
could it be a problem with a jumper?
thanks!

You may want to try the latest build 7046. Download the bootable media from your account and try with that.

How bad that a mature version v13 (no matrter which build) can't really cope with sata drives Oo

Two more questions about the scenario when booting from a bartpe cd:
-Can this be related to a jumper setting on the hdd?
-Can this be related to the position where I plugged in the sata-cable (there are 6 on my mainboard)?

Edit: Still not recognized by the latest build oO
Edit2: When clicking on "backup"->"files", I can see the volume listed kin the tree normally...

Could you please clarify, whether you experience the issue under Windows or under Acronis Bootable Media?

To help us to localize the issue please plug the SATA hard drive to your laptop, download Acronis Report utility available here and run it, create a report and attach the file to your next post. Please compress the Acronis Report output file into an archive (e.g. with WinZip) and attach to your message by browsing for the archive.

This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

Please also send me your serial number via Private Message, after that I will be able to provide you with an ISO file to create Acronis Bootable Media based on an alternate loader. This CD is more up to date than the one created with Acronis Media Builder.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other questions do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.
Thank you.
