Schedule Task Disappearing
Hey Folks,
My company just purchased True Image to be used to back up each employee's workstation. I installed last week and set up a daily scheduled task to back up to a server on our network. Due to server issues, the backup kept failing. Each time that it would fail, the scheduled task would be gone! I recreated the scheduled task at least a dozen times. No matter what I tried within the "Tasks and event log" function, I could not see any created schedule task. I decided to un-install and re-install. After doing so, woo-la, all previously created schedule tasks were there!
Well, we finally got our server issue resolved last Friday and I was able to successfully back up. The schedule task showed. Over the weekend, the backup failed again, and now my schedule task is gone. I believe a uninstall/reinstall would fix, but this is not a long term solution.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks...

I have a similar problem but my schedule tasks still run even though they can't be seen in the list of available tasks. I can only find build #8101 of Acronis True Image 11 and I have installed it. I also installed Acronis Scheduler for my Windows 2000 32 bit system. It didn't help. My tasks still run as scheduled but I can't see the tasks. If I remove acronis and install it again all my tasks show up again but it only lasts for a couple of days and then they disappear again. I have even noticed that when I click on a task to start it then it disappears never to be seen again unless I remove and reinstall Acronis.
Please help.

I've got exactly the same problem - I thought I was going mad. I've got a scheduled task running at 2am every morning and it's running fine - the backup is occuring (a data backup, not drive image) and I'm receiving the confirmation email.
I can see entries it in the log but when I go to "Tasks and Log", there are no scheduled tasks shown. In fact, there are no unscheduled tasks shown either and there should be one in there (manual backup of my C: drive).

Later... the only update for Acronis True Image 2009 Home I can see against my registered products is build 9770 which is what I'm running. Where is build 9796? Please don't tell me this is TI Home 2010 and I need to upgrade. I only bought TI 2009 on 28th January this year...
Thanks, Rob.

To answer my own question, build 9796 is the latest build for TI Home 2010 for which I have to pay £24 just seven months after buying the first version. I sometimes wish that the "Fit for purpose" from the UK sales of goods act applied to software!
TI is one of the few bits of software I buy and I'd sometimes like to recommend it to friends & colleagues but you don't make it easy on yourself...

Hello Rob,
I would like to clarify that the build #9796 is the latest build of Acronis True Image 2009 Home. The thing is that you have Acronis True Image 2009 Home - UK version. And your build is the latest build available for your version.
Could you please clarify if you updated Scheduler as it was suggested by Oleg in this thread?
Thanks,
