Scheduled backup trouble in the Acronis True Image for WD

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have used the Acronis True Image for WD version and set a backup schedule that Upon event -> System shut down or restart. But sometimes it didn't work well. I attached the screenshot that displayed after the malfunction happened.

For your information, I use Windows 7 32bit. It can be the root cause of this problem? Please give me any advice for me.

Thank you for reading this and have a good time.

Hello Jong.

Welcome to the community!

The screenshot doesn't show any error. Regarding the message "the latest backup has been stopped by user", this message usually appears when someone manually stops the backup process before it is completed. However, it's possible that this message could also appear if the backup process was interrupted due to a software error or system issue.

- Check the logs: When the backup fails, check the logs to see if they contain any error messages or helpful information. This could help you identify the root cause of the problem.

- Repair the program  ( Run the installation file and repair the program ).

- If you have other backup software installed on your computer, it's possible that they could be interfering with Acronis True Image. Try disabling them temporarily and see if that helps.

- Check the backup destination: Make sure the destination where the backup is being stored is accessible and has enough space. If the backup destination is a network share, make sure that the network connection is stable.

- Try a different backup method: If none of the above solutions work, try a different backup method, such as backing up to an external hard drive or cloud storage.

- You could also change the schedule and run the backup normally in a specific hour and not while shutting down.

Please let us know if that solved the issue. Feel also free to share any updates.

Thanks!
