Scheduled image creation deletions??
Having some very senior bad moments of late so apologise for what seemingly is a silly query.
Using Acronis 2015 True Image. I have scheduled a backup for every Wednesday at 20:00.
The images created are "Backup_Wednesdays_full_b1_s1_v1.tib". Wherein the number of each weekly backup changes following the b (1, 2, 3 etc.)
Question: Is every image created totally independent of any other image created in the series? i.e. Can I delete perhaps alternate images?

Note the part which reads "B1". All backup which have the B1 is one group are independent of other groups.
If your backup is full only, then you will only have one B1 and the next full will be B2.
However, If your backup includes full plus incremental, or Full plus differential, the you may have several backups whch reads B1 and all which are B1 is independant of others which read B2 or B3. If you have mutiple files which read B1, don't delete any pieces from the B1 grouping.

Be sure you set up your task for automatic cleanup. I don't know which type scheme you use so there is an example of each type.
A task which has automtiac cleanup will do its own deletion of old backup so manual delete and its problems can be avoided.
------------------------------------------------
Depending upon the type of backup scheme you wish to create, here is an example of each type. These can be set up for Disk image, or Partiton, or Files-folders backups. These example show how to set up automatic cleanup so the program will do the deletion after it reaches your set goal of how many chains to retain.
Editing an existing task is not recommended. Rarely does an edited task perform to user expectations. It is usually better to start with a new task using a new non-identical task name and point to a new storage sub-folder so each task has it own storage folder/sub-folder. Old task can be stopped or deleted from the task listings.
