Scheduled Task that I didn't schedule
I installed True Image and I made my first backup, but it was a manual backup. I did not schedule any tasks to run because my external drives go to sleep and I figure the program would try to access them while they were asleep and things would hang. And because I don't always turn the back up drive on - especially at bootup. So what happens today? The scheduled task starts to run while the pc is booted up. The backup drive wasn't hooked up and the other drive was apparently asleep. And the scheduled task wouldn't continue and I could access my external drive because it had it tied up I guess even though it wasn't suppose to be using that drive in the first place. So how do I turn off this scheduled task that I didn't even schedule in the first place?
Sorry, if I'm angry, but it frosts me a little that I had to force my machine to shut down when I didn't even schedule the task to begin with.

Kev914,
You can open TrueImag. Click on tasks & edit the task and see if you can correct where the options are wrong.
Or, from within TrueImage, you can simply delete the task.
Either way, I also suggest that you read and try item 8A of my signature index. Drive Notify is a great little utility for when backups are scheduled to an external source
