Scheduled task will not run

Thread needs solution

A scheduled task will not run, after starting several errors will come up:
"I/O error", "file can't be found" etc. When starting the same job manually the job runs without any problems.
The targetdrive is an external NAS, the source can be backed up locally but not on the NAS.
What am I missing here? (ATIH2009)

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to solve the issue.

The issue concerns Acronis scheduler malfunction. In order to solve it please do the following:

  1. Download Acronis Scheduler, which is a special utility to update the scheduler service:
  2. Extract the downloaded file and run install.bat. The utility will automatically update the service;

See if the issue is resolved. If it is not, then please proceed with steps 3 and 4:

  1. Reboot the machine;
  2. Recreate the scheduled tasks.

If you are not using the latest build 9809 you may want to update to it.  I am not certain if the issue is addressed in the new build at this point, however it is generally a good idea to be up to date. You can download the latest build from your account under registered products.
