Schedules not being applied in Home 2010

Thread needs solution

I have installed Acronis Home 2010 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. After installing and configuring my first schedule, I have noticed the list of available schedules for the day is empty. Is this a known issue ?

The version number of the executable indicates build 7046.

I have rebooted the machine, but still no joy.

I want to now manually start this scheduled task, how can I ?

1. Make sure your task is listed in the "scheduled" column.
2. Right click on the task and choose the change schedule option.
Inspect what is displayed and make sure the dates and times are correct. Save the changes.
3. You can cause a task to be run at any time by right clicking on the task and choose Start.

I would also suggest that you update your scheduler to the most current version.

What "scheduled" column. If you're talking about the "Tasks & Log" area....nothing shows at all for any scheduled tasks. The tsak was scheduled as daily and it is not showing up anywhere.

One other note, the task scheduled for last Friday shows as successful. So, the tasks are being performed, but they are not showing up in the list of tasks (for any day).

Before I try the scheduler you mentioned, I'd like to know more about it (rather than just trust it). How do I know if it is newer than my installed version (build 7046 of TI) ?

One thing to check.
Go to "Tool & Utilities", "Appearance", "Filter". Uncheck "Show only tasks created by the current user".

The new scheduler was released in June. The 7046 is much older.

Unchecking that option resolved the problem, but why is it hidden when I am clearly the user who created it.

I just checked the Acronis web site and 7046 is the latest build available (unless I'm looking in the wrong spot). Where is there a reference to a new scheduler being released ? Is there a Service Pack or something that I should be applying ?

This is the best I can do. This update will probably be in the next build but they do not add fixes or changes to an existing build. Fixes and changes are included in a future release.

That's fine. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an update available that I could not see. I can see my schedules now so I'll leave it until the next release. I have to say, though, I'm not sure why I could not see the tasks to begin with considering I am the user that created it.
