Screen Resolution on Recovery

Thread needs solution

I am running TI HOME 2010 on a Windows XP Home Edition Dell Computer. Anytime I have created a disk image or system backup then attempt a recover I have problems.

The screen is resolution by default simply is extremely difficult to read. I can barely make out what is going on.

Is there some sort of fix for this? I can't believe everyone lives with this problem there must be some sort of fix available.

Use the vga=ask option when you boot into TI. This will let you select different resolutions. (Press F11 at the Acronis Menu and add the command in the box. For example: quiet vga=ask) Hopefully, you can find one that works properly.

I would like to add to MudCrabs' words that you can fix the issue by using ISOLINUX Bootable Media and entering the appropriate command. Please see this  article  on how to do it.
There are two types of Acronis Bootable Media:
- Acronis Bootable Media that you can generate in your Acronis product. This type of media is based on Acronis Loader;
- Acronis Bootable Media that you can download from your account on the Acronis website. This type of media is based on ISOLINUX.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the web site more frequently than regular product updates are released.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media has several boot parameters that may help overcome possible issues with booting. You can also set a specific VGA resolution in the ISOLINUX media if there an issue with the Graphical User Interface (GUI).
