SD-Card not recognized by Laptop
I have a Lenovo T61 6463-cto with Windows Vista (SVP2). Everything worked fine.
I just installed Acronis True Image Home 2009 (D) on this Notebook. Now I can insert a SD-Card into the reader in front of the T61. I hear the "ding-dong" that the card is registered and I can see it in the device manager of the control panel. But there is no Drive appearing in the explorer. No chance to access the SD-Card. When I enter an USB-Stick a drive appears in the explorer.
When I uninstall Acronis everything works fine with the SD-Card Reader. How can this be solved?

I think it is something to do with the stacksize in the registry - it was mentioned here recently and I've read some references to it in the old forum.

Did you mean:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters --> IRPStackSize ?

I don't know ... didn't pay much attention to the message. Try searching for it here and also in the old forum with the link "Acronis Forum Archive" on the left.

This key does not exist under Vista. Inserting it with a value of 8 hast no success. kh

Build 9,608 had lots of problems with media cards and readers. I would try updating to the latest build and see if it helps.

Hello Karl-Heinz,
Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/ | Acronis True Image]]
I agree, the issue should be resolved by installing the latest build of the program. You can learn more on how to download the latest build [[http://kb.acronis.com/content/1642 | here]].
Thank you.
