Seagate DiscWizard compatability

Thread needs solution

TI 2013. Trying to install new Seagate sshd drive to replace old primary hdd using Seagate DiscWizard. I'm told to uninstall TI 2013 (don't know why). I tried using TI 2013 "Clone Disc" instead but although Windows 7 boots I have many internet related problems. Is there an easy way to work around this problem? I'm considering backing up TI 2013 to a flash drive, uninstalling TI 2013, and then proceeding with discwizard.

You don't say which version of Windows. If 8 or 8.1, 2013 users qualify for a free update to 2014.
Version 2013 does not work with 8 or 8.1.

Only one version of TrueImage can be installed--either DiscWizard or regular true image.

If disk wizard is to be upgraded to a newer verson of TrueImage, DiscWizard will need to be installed for the upgrade version to install successfully.

If 2013 installed and you want to use discWizard, you should use the TI cleanup utility which can be found via my signature link 4 below.

If you create a TI Recovery CD for a paid version, then you also have the option of working exclusively from the TI Recovery and no installed version necessary.
