The Seagate Extended Capacity Manager (ECM)

Thread needs solution

The Seagate Extended Capacity Manager (ECM)

apologies i am probably in the wrong forum

could someone please point me to the correct forum to discuss issues about this product ?

i use the extended cpcacity software on my older system to create a spanned volume that has become

broken..

after power outage the primary partiton was recognized as un-initialized upon power restored.

i have probably made things worse I used the rebuild MBR option in EaseUS partiton master  but now i just have apparent unpartitioned space instead of the primary partition.

to make it even worse i have chosen the "convert to dynamic disk" in the windows disk managment utility.

the latter dynamic disk partitions of that drive are still intact but will not respond to "reactivate disk" since the first partition is part of the spanned array.

Hi!
Here you'll find information on the support options for OEM versions of Acronis products https://kb.acronis.com/content/2201

The scenario sounds pretty bleak and son't see much chance of repairing what has happened.

Do you not have a backup of the drive you can revert back to?  Use your rescue media to help out with restoring the drive image back to how it was before things took a turn for the worse (if you have a backup).
