self update of 2011 took 4 reboots!

When I started TIH 2011 this morning, it said there was an update. So, I let it update. The update failed and said I needed to reboot, which I did (#1).

Started TIH again, said there was an old version installed and I needed to reboot, which I did (#2).

Started TIH again, and updated. And the end, said I needed to reboot, which I did (#3).

Started TIH again, and it said there was an old version installed and asked to reboot, which I did (#4).

Started TIH again, did the update check and it said I was up to date.

Really, 4 reboots? This is excessive, even for a Windows program.

What other problems are there with the latest update? Can someone from Acronis please tell us why the new release was withdrawn? Should we downgrade to an earlier release?
