Serial Key Already Registered

Thread needs solution

I was having some problems with ATI 2015 and thought of the bright idea of uninstalling/reinstalling myself to see if that would fix the issue, now i run into "access denied" or "max retry count exceeded". I found my original email from acronis with my key when i purchased it and tried logging into the website with that email only to discover that an account didn't exsist. So I created one. Tried to "Add" my key and is says that the key is already registered. I'm very frustrated with this and need a backup done quick. I've done alot of work recently and noticed that my scheduled backups were not working. Deleting my jobs and creating new ones didn't work which led me to preform the steps that leave me where I am right now.

Someone please be my savior!

Thanks for your attempt at pointing me in the right direction. However, I'm unable to link my product key to my account and that is a required step before being able to contact them on the phone for support. So it appears i'm still stuck.

Jennifer, on the Support page raise this issue as a PreSales / Licensing issue and you won't need to have the key registered to your account in order to speak with them via Live Chat, but they will need some proof of purchase for the key.

Fixed it myself. Ran the cleanup tool that i found in Steve Smiths signiture above.
