Try going into the help and customer support option and registering on line - you will have the details in the emails you received.

I purchased my product (boxed version) from the Acronis web site. The Activation code ( I assume that is what you're looking for) was listed on the CD sleeve. If you downloaded the product from Acronis, then as bin says, it may be in the e-mails you received from Acronis.
I know there are "opportunities" on line to purchase products at great discounts. I found at least 10 by googling "Purchase Acronis True Image". Prices vary. Some may be legitimate, others maybe not. Other forums talk about purchasing software activation codes for various products on line which may work for awhile and then fail. If you bought from Acronis (boxed or downloaded), you should be safe.

It is contained in your credit card receipt for the purchase. The receipt is from Cleverbridge.com. Hope you didn't think it was spam.

I purchased an upgrade direct from Acronis online (2010). The only number I have a record of, and it says is my serial number, is a 64-digit number; i.e., eight octets separated by hyphens. The example serial number for registering my product indicates a 25-digit number; i.e., five quintets, but I cannot find any trace of this number anywhere!
Will someone kindly direct me to where I can find this 25-digit number so I can register my product so I can get updates and support and so forth.

Mark,
You should be able to log into your Acronis account and enter the TI 2010 serial number and have it work. Don't worry about the example shown on that page (it's just using the previous key type).

I've downloaded a 30 day free trial of Acronis True Image 2010 Home software, how come I was not given a serial number? Thanks

You don't need a serial number to use the trial version. Just leave the box empty when you get to that step in the installation.

I purchased an upgrade on line. I am trying to install it. I put in the correct serial number of the upgrade, but the box is asking for the old version serial number. I do not have that. I originally installed the program with MaxBlaster. How do I get past the box asking for the old serial number?

Hello all,
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and for the delay with the response.
Wade, I'm familiar with the issue and will do my best to assist you.
The thing is that older builds of Maxtor MaxBlast had no built-in serial number. The newer one (build 8142 or higher) has this serial number and can be upgraded to Acronis True Image Home 2010.
Please visit this link to download the latest build of Maxtor MaxBlast, install it and finally install Acronis True Image over it. At this time it won't ask you for an old serial number.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you.

Hello Lidy,
I understand your concerns and will do my best to help you.
As I can see from our system, you've recently purchased a subscription to our Online Backup service. It is quite normal that you didn't receive any serial number, all you need is your e-mail and a password to your account on our web site.
Please log in to your account, then go to Online Backup section and download the Acronis Online Backup. After that install the software and follow the directions from this KB article to back up your data.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you.

Hi Ilya ,

Thanks!
P.S. The latest version is Seagate Diskwizard

I am attaching my receipt from my purchas of True Image Version 9. Where is the serial number? Please help. I would like to get the latest build. This should not be this difficult. Why can I not find it in the software itself? Thank you in advance for your help.

You should have received an email from Cleverbridge that contained your serial number. I did when I purchased TI 2010 and the Pluspack. If you have the product installed see https://forum.acronis.com/sites/default/files/forum/2009/11/5933/2009-s….

Hello all,
- Log in to post comments

I have 12 registered products all together with you. I have 3 Acronis True Image 2009 Home (English) . I only have Acronis True Image 2009 installed on one computer and after installing I failed to note which of the three serials that I used. I want to use my upgrade copy of Acronis True Image Home 2010 Standard Upgrade and use it on the above computer. When installing ATIH 2010 it will ask me for serial for ATIH 2009 as well. So how do I find the serial for 2009 in order to use the upgrade ??
Thankyou
- Log in to post comments

It should show up when you click on 'About' under the help button (can't remember exactly where that it is for TI2009 but will be top right somewhere!)
- Log in to post comments

You can get to the hidden tool bar in the left corner by using ALT key. > Help > About or the Arrow Down > Help but there is no serial listed in Acronis True Image 2009 Home . So the question remains. So how do I find the serial for 2009 in order to use the upgrade ?
I have included a screenshot of 2009 "About"

Acronis shows the serial number in some builds and doesn't in others.
Personally, I wouldn't worry about. You have three licenses. Just use one of the TI 2009 numbers when you install TI 2010. If you don't know the number, you can get it from your Acronis account.

Recently upgraded for 3 licenses of Acronis True Image 2010, but when trying to use some of the features, it says I am on the trial version, asks me to activate, but I do not have an activation #.
Thanks.

With 2010 if you click on activation, insert your serial number it should then be happy, unless it isn't the same number that you originally used to install it.

how can I retrieve my password from acronis?
Password for what?
If you are referring to your serial number, log into your account and the click on "Download all serials"
If you are meaning the password to log into your account then that is the same password you use to log in here.

hi. meant my serial # for the old version that I had before.
when I look on the web site, it is a much shorter #, now asking for 64-number, which this is not.
- Log in to post comments

As it is installed, I would imagine it is asking for the 2010 number.
Are you saying you haven't registered the 2010 versions on the site yet?
If that is the case you'll need to contact Acronis sales to get your serial number.
Another alternative is to run a repair install of TI2010 and see if that solves the problem.
- Log in to post comments

It was installed on my old computer, which I no longer have. Your web site shows a 2009 version and a 2011 version, plus 3 new versions I purchased to upgrade (1 upgrade, 2 other)
- Log in to post comments

Marilyn,
I am losing track of what is what!
What version did you upgrade from?
From what you've said, you've registered a 2009 and a 2011, so where does the 2010 come from and what is the two other?
Do you have your emails from Acronis that have the serial numbers sent to you from version 2010 onwards?
- Log in to post comments

I don't remember what version I purchased, it was probably 2009, but with only one license. Had this installed on a computer that I use for work, but it is not owned by me, so when that computer broke down, I had to turn it in to them for a replacement. I am not even sure if I was able to remove the program from that computer, to install it on another. Was upset with that, and did not pursue it further. Then, just recently got e-mail offering an upgrade (1 2011 upgrade plus 2 2011 licenses for a total of 3 licenses).
However, when I went on the web site, it had already listed 2009 license, a 2011 license, and then after I contacted Acronis directly, they added the last 3 licenses.
However, as I mentioned, these are much shorter serial #'s, not the 64-character that I was requested to activate the current 2011 version I currently had installed from your web site.
If I go onto one of my old computers and try to install 2009, for example, would it accept that shorter serial #?
Thanks.
- Log in to post comments

OK,
I now think I understand. 2009 also use the 64 number serials.
The short numbers are these in the email or actually listed against the product in your account?
As you've got upgrade products, you'll need both the 2009 (if that is the original full version serial number) plus the 2011 ones.
With the activation numbers sent in the email, i believe you either click on a link with them or enter them into the registration box which will then give you the 64 number serials.
If not, then I'm afraid your best option would be either to contact Sales or raise a support ticket.
An Acronis moderator might be able to help, I'll see if they have any ideas.

ok, thanks for your help. Will take the approach of contacting support. thanks for all your quick help!

Michelle,
You will need to contact Sales, or check with HP to see if they have updated their OEM version for Windows 10.

This is amazing. I have 4 licenses for ATI 2015 (build 6613) and I need to make a fresh reinstall in my system. Before Acronis recent visual change to their website, one used to be able to download without the need for keys or, at least, we could easily download all one's license keys. No longer, it seems. I cannot find any link to download my keys and I am being requested to enter my serial number from my mailbox or from the product box!
One other issue is it seems there's no way to create rescue media directly from Acronis "My Account".
What am I missing? I need urgent help, please...

OK, I got it!
Now, why on earth they decided that getting my serial numbers would be more properly initiated from "Get Support" rather than from the very list of the products screen, where they always have been, it beats the heck out of me...
This smaller issue (even if not negligible) added to other recent and more serious issues involving software problems, leads to a bold (but very fair minded) question: Who is at the helm of Acronis Corporation in these most recent years?...
I do like Acronis and having been continuously a loyal user since Acronis 11.5 and owning licenses for all versions through ATI 2015 witnesses to it, I believe. So, please don't get me wrong...

we contacted HP and they said they no longer issue acronis with their products...they also said they didnt have any product keys...i have acronis installed on my desktop...but still cant obtain any type of product key...its getting frustrating.....as you can see...it is activated...but have no key....any way i can still receive help to update my build?....ty..... http://prntscr.com/8bbze8

Gregory, I do not think I can be of much help, other than suggesting that you should contact Acronis either by email, live Chat or phone call. I know that some computer brands bundle various kinds of software, usually having to do with antivirus, backup/restore and miscellaneous bloatware. However, most of this software is provided free for a limited time, tipically1 or 3 months. Then it is up to the user to go out and acquire the commercial licenses for those he/she chooses to keep or get any other brand of software for the same effect.
Is that your situation? If so, please do not waste your time, neither HP or Acronis are going to give you any solution, other than suggesting you purchase a new license. In such case, you may go directly to the Acronis webpage and purchase one license that will allow you to update your current build or to download a fresh copy of their software.
Hope this helps. Please report back.
Good luck.

well...the version i received was free...it was for cloning purposes only...the disk came with an SSD from HP....i installed it as instructed and it came with no product key to begin with....it was automatically verified via you all at installation with limited functionality.....i really love the cloning features and pretty much all i use it for as i do run a RAID on my pc....if i need to but an upgrade then i may just have to, but i also read somewheres that its not guaranteed to work in win 10...is this true?....i just really want my cloning capabilities back....ty
- Log in to post comments

Yeah... I think that's it. You received kind of a trial copy provided by the computer manufacturer. This happens all the time. Now it's up to you to get the final copy and for this you may want to follow the steps I outlined in my previous message. The new software will include the cloning functionality as well as other features you may also end up enjoying.
In any case, you would probably be better off contacting Acronis before doing anything else. Hey, the contact is free!... :) And you may be guided about the various options you have, like local vs. cloud, number of devices you may use the software on, and so forth.
Best wishes,
L

The OEM versions of True Image contain embedded serial numbers. Normally all that is required is to have the OEM version installed (plus whatever the activating component, ie: Seagate or WD hard drive or in this case an HP PC), then the latest version of True Image is installed over the top.
When for whatever reason that doesn't work, Acronis Sales can normally solve the problem.

well...i tried as you suggested...i was able to find the key...however when i log in to update it appears there are none....i also tried to re-install from disk on the drive you mentioned and it says not able to install this app in win 10...i really just want the cloning capabilities as i said...i run my own back ups....how do i get it?
- Log in to post comments

Gregory,
I assume you are talking about registered products that show up under your Acronis account, OEM versions will not show up here. You won't be able to install any True Image program that is not TI2015 (last build) or 2016 on Windows 10.
If you just want to clone (not exactly recommended) then this can be done from the True Image recovery media, here the OS is not the problem, rather whether the Linux drivers can see your PC's hardware. By the sounds of it, your copy will.
To upgrade or update to TI 2016, you will need to contact Sales who should be able to get you going with a Windows installed copy of 2016.

thanks for your replies and info...i just went ahead and purchased the upgrade and all is good now...i now have my cloning capabilities back and as you said some other features too....thanks again

Good luck.

Hi can you help i need to reinstall my Acronis 2014 TI and i have lost the product serial number and registration code.
Thanks
Graham

Graham, if you have registered your product in an Acronis account, then you can sign-in with your registered email address & password and get a list of your serial numbers.
If you don't have the above then you will need to contact Acronis Support directly for any further help as we have no access to the Acronis systems holding this type of information from these user forums.
