Serious Error with version 2011

Thread needs solution

I have been working with Acronis Support for the last two months trying to get them to fix Acronis True Image Home 2011.

Due to their not being able to fix the vast amount of errors, I have now reverted to using Acronis True Image Home 2010 and frankly since re-installing this version I have not had any problems whatsoever. Also, the backups 2010 version takes every day, only takes 1 hour 40 mins against 10+ hours for version 2011, and the backup file produced is 68,175,917 kb against 191,942,908 kb when using 2011 version.

Therefore version 2011 has SERIOUS problems which Acronis Support keep blaming on the Development Team for the delay in fixing the vast amount of errors I have proved to Acronis Support exist in the 2011 version.

The main error is the software keeps failing to complete backups giving an error "Failed to Open Data Stream" & “Cannot find File“ & “Cannot find source partition with path '\local\hd_sign(3F9308A3)\part_sn(24030464)start(63)'”, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Personally, version 2011 is that full of bugs it is not worth upgrading or purchasing at the present time.

It is a real shame that Aconis Support keep putting the blaming their Developemnt Team for not fixing these bugs.
