Setting up bootable media to set a default work group

Thread needs solution

Hi, this is my first time here so bear with me.

My company has just started using Acronis 2013 for backing up work stations and rapidly setting up new ones and we have been incredibly happy with it so far. The only issue we have right now is one of size our company is spread out through across 2 small offices linked back through a central server.

Right now we are looking at the possibility of setting up bootable media (either cd or usb drive) to both load the Acronis AND set a default work group so we can load images for the appropriate workstation from our central server rather than from a portable hard drive. I am just wondering if anyone else has tried this in the past and if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction.

Thanks and have a great day

I haven't tried this with True Image as it isn't designed to do this, but I can tell you you would have better luck using ABR11.5 Advanced Workstation as you can set up a central archive and with the correct licences remotely distibrute images to other PC's.

one thing I know from our use of it currently is that when you boot from an acronis disk it sets the default work group as "workgroup" and we can see all the computers on that group, we just would like away of changing "workgroup" to our internal workgroup so that we can find back up images from a central location
