Several Minor Questions

Thread needs solution

I have a registered copy of True Image 2010 Build 7,046. I have a couple of questions about this:

1. I am currently running it on Windows XP. Will it run okay on Windows 7?

2. In addition to my home computer, I just purchased a netbook. Do I need to purchase an additional license?

3. What is the best way to create an image of my netbook since it does not have a CD/DVD drive? Can True Image create the image on a memory stick?

4. After a few months of using True Image, I had to restore a single file from an image. My backup spans two DVD's. It must have taken me swapping the DVD ten or fifteen times to restore one file. There has to be a better way! What is it?

1. TI 2010 supports Windows 7 so you should be fine with it.

2. Each license is for one computer. You would need an additional license.

3. A flash drive can be used for the recovery media and for storage. If you have problems with TI not creating the media correctly, there are alternate methods that can be used.

4. Don't use DVDs. Disc swapping can be a big problem. A better solution is to use a large enough flash drive or an external hard drive (USB, eSATA, etc.).
