Simple file from one unit to the other

We have two NAS units, one will be used as a failover for the other. Just want to be able to copy all the files from one unit to the other. If one NAS fails, we just pull the ethernet cable and plug it into the failover unit and we are up and running. NAS units only used for group to store files. Please advise on best practices with your software.
