Single version of backup - restore asks for version 9

Thread needs solution

I have a backup from my last PC made in a previous version of Acronis True Image. It is a complete backup and a single version. When I try to recover files from it using ATI 2015, it says it can't find version 9 and stalls. Any idea what to do about this?

With single versions backups, the behavior is unwarranted. I can imagine however that this might happen if the Acronis database is out of sync with the files present on the disk. Try this:
- shut down Acronis
- go to services.msc and stop all the acronis services
- go to C:\programdata\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Databaze
- rename the archives.db file archives.OLD
- restart the computer

Does this solve this issue?

You can also try validating the backup and respond ignore to any of the error prompts. The ignore response may need to be done multiple times to clear all missing backups.

Sorry for the delay. I've now tried both of the above methods and, separately, they gave an Error that the file could not to transferred, but both together seem to have worked. Thanks!
