Slow Cloning speed

Just updated Acronis TI 10 to the latest revision as the speed to clone my C drive was unbelievably slow (was very fast previously). That didn't work, so I moved the clone HD to a new SATA port and that fixed the problem, it's now zipping thru as I type this. I realised later that I had changed the clone HD to a SATA port that was easier to get to, but it must have been a port that was sharing the same chipset as my C drive, if that makes sense.
