---Solved--- Backup Temp Directory

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone,

i just downloaded and installed the 30-day test version of Acronis True Image 2014. Now i wanted to test a backup to my NAS. So far everything seems to be okay, but i recognised that i run out of space on my 128GB SSD while Acronis was doing the backup so i canceled the Backup but the software didn't response anymore. I restarted my laptop but my ssd was still out of space. So my question is where can i find the Temp backup directory in order to delete the snapshot who were created by the backup job? Many thanks in advance.

Edit: My Operating System is Windows 8.1

I don't have 8 but you can check here which is 7
c:\users\your user name\AppData\Local\Temp

Thank you for your answer. I deleted all files in this folder already but it doesnt change anything...

Edit: Guys i found it. I used a tool called TreeSize Free it is analysing the size of every data on the drive and shows it sorted by the size. So the Path of the Snapshot is: C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Temp\TfsStore\Tfs_DAV\ and the name of it is the same you set up in acronis.

Nice job. Yes. Treesize is a great little tool which I use regulary for disk or partition comparison.

Did this solve your problem of space being consumed?

Sounds like your 128GB SSD isn't far off full. If so, and if you also have an internal HDD, you should start moving Docs, Music etc to the HDD. The properties of those folders - the special folders - have a location tab which you can use to move them in such a way that your other software knows where they have gone.

Yes this solved my problem, thank you. I have 84Gb free space on my SSD. But the size of the Backup was about 90GB. But now everything is okay. I Copied some unnessesary files to my Diskstation so that tha backup is now about 50GB, but apart from that, thank you for your help.
