Solved Slow Backup in VISTA

My Main System HD is 300 GB SATA partitioned NTFS as follows:

Windows Vista (C:) = 50GB

Data(D:) = 250GB

I use Acronis True Image Home® version 10.0 (build 4,942) to backup my system partition (C:) that currently has 30 GB of files.

I was very discu.....ssted as a backup would take 12-13 hours.  Then I discovered that if I split the files at 2GB(2048) my backup time went to 15 minutes and verify was about 8 minutes.

This might help others that have this same problem.
