Solved:Lost F11 boot option, can't get it back Acronis 2010 Windows 7 Ultimate
Fixed my Windows 7 splash screen by pasting this in command prompt: bcdboot %WinDir% /l en-US but NOW lost my F11 Acronis recovery manager ability. It was working until I did that.
How do I get the F11 boot option back? Now I get an error message when I try to activate the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager.
I know, I know, I should never be allowed near a computer. :cry:
Error message in Acronis: http://files.myopera.com/creegah/files/no_f11.JPG
(Used instructions on this page to get back W7 splash screen - had Vista splash screen with my W7 install.

It must be something simple that has been changed in the boot files.
Thanks in advance for any insights.
Here's my boot file:
Name: Windows 7
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Windows Directory: \Windows
Solved: Booted from Acronis rescue disk and was able to activate the F11 option outside of the Windows environment. Now, so far, I have the W7 splash screen and the F11 boot up choice (just like to have it available because I have an old CD drive on its last legs and may not be able to use the Acronis CD to restore).
