The Specified File does not exist

Thread needs solution

Hi all

I'm using True Image 2014. I'm trying to undertake a new back up on a new external drive.

Each time I create a new back up I get the message 'the specified file does not exist. To specify another location please click browse'

I don't understand. It's a new external hard drive and is big enough. I also struggle to create a nonstop backup. I get error messages there too.

What is the issue? Why isn't this straight forward for me?

Perhaps your backup task is not looking in the correct location or the drive letter of the destination device has changed.

You can edit yout backup task and choose the MOVE option and change the current destination location to whevever the target disk/backup location is now.
