The specified file does not exist: \\allenbackupnas\IanBackup\@task@.tib
Hi Guys,
Am fairly new to Acronis True Image 2015, have just started with a company that use it for our clients and one of our clients has recently had the following issues:
"The specified file does not exist: \\allenbackupnas\IanBackup\@task@.tib"
The connection to the nas is still working (tested through Acronis), I have tried restarting the NAS but that did not fix anything.
I also have the attached log files from email.
Can anyone please tell me a solution?
Thanks,
Daniel.

coccoster - the message is a little vague "The specified file does not exist: \ \allenbackupnas\IanBackup\@task@.tib." When you navigate to that directory on the NAS from File Explorer in windows - are there baackup files there - if so, what is the last date?
I am wondering if the clients backup task was created with an account of someone who no longer exists or who has changed their password so it is no longer able to authenticate to the NAS location? Perhaps it was setup using a Service account and the password changed on it.
I would test by creating a new backup task on the system that points to teh same location on the NAS, but a new folder in that directory (to keep the files separate and clean). It should prompt for credentials - make sure these are credentials for the share (usually need to put the domain\username) that have Write/Modify access. If the credentials are good and there are no network connectivity issues or disk issues - the new backup should run.
There is a registry key modification that you can also try to force Acronis to prompt for new credentials if you modify the existing task and navigate to the backup location again for the "destination". It has worked for many, and may help in your case if you want to try and keep the original backup task instead of creating a new one (although the new one may be the best route anyway).

Solution / Workaround:
Exit out of Acronis. Stop Acronis services in computer management/services - there are usually 4 of them.
ATIH 2016 (and 15) saves the network credentials in the Windows registry:
HKCU\Software\Acronis\Connections\
(HKCU = HKEY_CURRENT_USER)
Deleting all subkeys below the parent key "Connections" will delete the saved credentials.
