Splash screen/Run maximized on scheduled backup

Thread needs solution

I have scheduler configured to run a backup on shutdown once a day. The problem I have is that there appears to be no way of getting TI to run in a window when scheduler kicks in to do a backup.

This means that an inexperienced user may miss the little tool-tip which appears above the system tray for a short period, and especially the animated icon underneath it, and assume that Windows is hung and disconnect the system power.

Is there any way of getting TI to bring up the regular window with the progress box automatically whenever a scheduled task is running?

Martin,

What version of TI are you using?

Are you using the Windows Scheduler to call TI on shutdown?

As far as I know the option to perform an image on looging off is only available in the corperate versions.

Hello,

Colin, thanks for your help.

Martin, let me assist you. I do understand your concern, but currently it's impossible to bring up the main Acronis window when a scheduled task starts. However, I've transferred your request to the responsible department, so probably that feature will be implemented in future versions of Acronis True Image.

Please reply to this thread if you have any additional questions.

Thank you.
