SSD Partition allignment with WIndows 7

Thread needs solution

I successfully cloned an existing clean install of my Win 7 RTM 32bit C: drive to a new OCZ vertex drive with the 2010 home True Image product. The source disk was a 20GB larger than the 120GB SSD. the Bitlocker and OS partition were created and the drive booted and ran well. The partitions, however, are not properly alligned for optimum SSD perfromance. Here's the diskpart output:

OCZ-VERTEX v1.10 ATA Device

Pagefile Disk : No
Hibernation File Disk : No
Crashdump Disk : No

Question - I would be fine with 1 alligned partition for the OS. Is there an easy way to use TI 2010 to save my current SSD WIn 7 partition, and restore it to the SSD alligned?

Thanks

Dave

You could try creating the partition using Windows 7 and then restoring into it.

You could also try setting the "space before" value to 1MB (it may take several attempts and you may end up with 2MB).
