SSD to SSD cloning issues

Thread needs solution

Just tried to upgrade my primary disc from 128 to 450GB. The application claims that the task completed successfuly. However attempts to boot off the cloned drive fail with a error code 0XC000000E "required device inaccessible" message. Using the recommended OS install CD to repair the system fails to detect the proper version of the OS and the whole thing fails. Attempted doing this with a clone from SATA to USB drive, SATA to SATA. I even tried stripping the source drive out of the chassis a attempting to clone on a completely different machine. I did manage to change the fault from 0XC000000E to BOOTMGR Missing. This task is failing on two SSDs from two different manufacturers. This is also the first time Acronis has failled to do what it was asked to do. Could use some assistance in overcoming this issue.

Do you have multiple physical disk drives installed in your PC computer? I had that happen when replacing my C:/ drive with a new SSD. The clone was successful but it wouldn't boot. Same message: BOOTMGR Missing. I turned off the computer, phyically disconnected the other three installed hard drives from the mobo, and restarted. Windows now recognized the newly cloned SSD as the C:/ drive and booted normally. Once Windows was fully loaded, I shut it down again and reconnected the hard drives to the SAME MOBO SATA III CONNECTORS that they were unplugged from. After restart, all was normal. All drives/paths were intact. I don't know if plugging the drives back in to the same connector locations makes any difference but I do know they are 'registered' in the BIOS as such. So, I didn't go there with trying something different with that.
