SSL Notification is not doing anything - never times out

Thread needs solution

I used to have this feature working until I had to change my password on my email account. I used the exact same password in TrueImage's settings and when I use the "Send test message" button, it will pop up the little box saying that it's sending a message, but nothing is being sent and it never times out with any error...it will stay that way forever.

1). If I take off the "Log on to pop" option, it instantly fails and I will get an error (0x0064022B+0x0000FFF0+0x80070003) that has no info on it.

2). If I change to no encryption, it will time out and I get the error (0x0064022B+0x0000FFF0+0x8007001B) that also has no info on it.

3). If I deliberately misspell or remove the password, it will sit at the "sending message" step indefinitely (shouldn't this fail at SOME time???)

I am using the same settings in my email client (Eudora) and it works without fail, but TI will now do anything. Any suggestions as to what I can do to get it to work?

Change the 465 to 587 and press the test button and let us know.

So apparently this is an error that can not be fixed? I think waiting for 6 months for a reply would be considered ample time to come up with a fix. Sad.

I guess it's time to pursue competitive options since this one is not being supported anymore (or in ANY form of timeliness).
