Standalone - Network Backup Worked With XP Computer But Not Win 7

Greetings,

I had been using the CD boot version of Acronis 2010 to make image backups of my notebook computer to a shared hard drive on my desktop computer. Previously, I had a Windows XP-based system and all worked well.

A while ago, that computer died and I replaced it with a Windows 7 computer. I have the drive shared with "Everyone" having full access to the drive. For some reason, I cannot see the desktop computer in the "Computers Near Me" option.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?
